OUR STORY

FABLE HOUSE

A FEW THINGS

FABLE HOUSE IS A LOUISIANA FILM FINANCE, DEVELOPMENT, PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION COMPANY.

Established in 2014 by producer Sam Claitor and cinematographer Matt S. Bell, Fable House is committed to collaborating with some of the industry’s most exciting new talent. In its first year of production, Fable House produced over $2 million of content.

In 2013, before the inception of Fable House, Claitor and Bell met on the set of a TV series and decided to collaborate on West Without’s music video for their single Give Me Your Heart. A successful working relationship was born and the two decided to produce more content together. After several successful collaborations Claitor and Bell decided to make it official and Fable House was born in 2014. Claitor and director Misty Talley worked together to produce Ten to Sing alongside Construct Films. Ten to Sing is a short fantastical narrative about an elderly woman discovering the mystery of life. The film went on to show at Festival de Cannes 2014.

Fable House made it’s feature film debut with the SyFy Original Zombie Shark, a B movie thriller directed by Talley. Zombie Shark stars Cassie Steele, Laura Cayoutte, Ross Britz, Becky Andrews, and Jason London. Zombie Shark is a co-production with fellow Louisiana production company Active Entertainment. Following Zombie Shark, Fable House managed psychological thriller Desolation directed by David Moscow.

Fable House next produced the highly anticipated film The Parallax Theory in 2015. The Parallax Theory was directed by Sawyer Hartman and stars Vincent Cyr, Melissa Saint-Amand, Lindsay Musil, Teri Wyble, John Bernecker, Thomas Francis Murphy, and David Jensen. The Parallax Theory is based on Hartman’s short film titled Parallax. The narrative follows young physicist Jonathan Cooper and his struggle to keep his life together in his attempt to save his family from an inevitable meteor strike and themselves. The Parallax Theory was produced alongside Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s new media production company New Form Digital.

Music videos, commercials, and other forms of branded content continue to be creative outlets for Fable House. Notable team ups include working with metalcore band Myka Relocate, rap group Young Futura, practical effects company Composite Effects, production company Matrona, and TommysTV. Fable House’s development slate for 2015 includes The Tiger & The Oak, Ozark Shark, and Whore House At The End Of The World. The Tiger & The Oak is a documentary that dives into the environmental crisis the Louisiana coast is currently in by focusing on Cheneire au Tigre, a soon to be gone barrier island. Ozark Shark is a B movie that could be referred to as Deliverance meets Jaws. Whore House At The End Of The World is Troma style narrative about a brothel and it’s inhabitants after World War III’s nuclear fallout.
